What a terrible app. Tried to connect, and then had to update app. Why does app need my location? Now have to create an account so BlackVue can know what I had for breakfast and my bathroom patterns! Then I try to connect via wifi, tried 3 times and then switched to Bluetooth. Bluetooth finds camera but can't verify it even with me touching the left side as instructed. I give up. Looks like the only way to get my videos is to take the card out. Previous app worked fine, without all the spyware.

Dear Customer,
We apologize for any inconvenience. With the latest update, the BlackVue App has been redesigned for a more intuitive experience. New features include a revamped UI, Cloud Storage for all users, and Offline Mode. Login issues have also been resolved to prevent unexpected timeouts. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

in theory a great system, while the dashcam haven't crashed on me in the last 3+ years, I can compare to a long list of dashcams, the software makes you question everything. this is the worst software I've ever worked with, compared to nexar, where the dashcam is horrible with its night resolution, the software is on point. everytime they keep updating, it's crashing badly. can't they test it out before publishing? I can't view any of the videos in the last two days because I can't connect.

I hate this dashcam. I can't update it, turns out there's 12 updates waiting to be done that I didn't know about. it hasn't recorded anything in 3 months and now is when I find that out when I need to find out who broke into my car last night! it says my password is wrong but I've never changed it so it should be the one the company set! I wanna throw it against the wall and smash it.
