About this game

All Who Wander is a traditional turn-based roguelike with 30 procedurally generated levels, true permadeath, and no metaprogression. Inspired by dungeon crawlers such as Pixel Dungeon, it demands careful strategy to survive in an unforgiving world. Choose from 15 unique character classes, master 100+ abilities, recruit companions, and discover powerful items as you journey across 12 diverse biomes.

Every run is different. Every decision matters.

Full 30-level game included.
Start with 3 character classes and 1 boss.
Unlock 12 additional classes and 5 more bosses with a one-time purchase.
No ads. No microtransactions. Play offline.

Craft Your Character

Experiment with 15 character classes, each offering distinct playstyles. With no class restrictions, any character can learn any skill or equip any item. Discover ability synergies across 10 skill trees to create powerful builds, such as a warrior illusionist or shaman ranger. Go solo or lead a party of companions to survive the dangers ahead.

Explore a Vast World

Dive into a 3D, hex-based world that is different every time you play. Explore blinding deserts, echoing temples, and noxious swamps, each filled with hazards and secrets to uncover. Pay attention to your surroundings. Use tall grass for cover and avoid sand dunes that slow your movement. Be prepared for hostile storms and curses, forcing you to adapt your strategy.

Too hard and can barely get past the second level without dying so much. Enemy spam is heavy. It's not that dying is the issue, it's how often you die because of spam traps or spam enemies that appear out of thin air to hurt you instantly. And any time I get a good event to give me good armor or something, traps seem to pop up more and kill me or hidden enemies. I can't keep the good stuff

Sorry to hear you're frustrated with the game. It's intended to be challenging at first, but gets easier the more you play and learn about the world. You can always try playing in Casual or Adventure mode without permadeath. Also check out the in-game guide.

Quality, indy, classic roguelike. The hardcore mode is virtually impossible. Traps, overpowered AOE, zone-wide multi stage debuffs that negate your class, enemies/traps that spawn 6 enemies surrounding you, uselessly underpowered companions... No one class can deal with all of it. Ranger cannot do anything surrounded by 6 enemies. Druid relies on companions but they are impossible to keep alive. Nobody can deal with the 1000s of invisible traps but thief. Winning relies 100% on luck.
