New subscription models have made the app useless for me, and I can no longer recommend it. Separate subscriptions are now required for multiple devices, and the option to import up to three personal maps without a subscription has been removed. I often send contractors to remote locations in outback Australia and relied on them being able to download Avenza and import a map for short-term work. Requiring subscriptions for this is very disappointing and removes key functionality.

Use for work, am alright with paying for a decent tool. The cap on 15 map imports per calendar year makes this a useless tool that I paid 50 $ for. It is disappointing to long term users to suddenly limit the number of maps they can import. We should all be seeking a mapping tool without a tiered paywall on how many maps you can download a year.

Very misleading. It states that 20 maps available for custom import (I paid for the plus subscription). However, if you install and delete because the import was poor, it COUNTS as a download. So if you delete unused maps those count but it does not warn you. So it is not 20 active maps, it is 20 download attempts, whether you keep the map active or not. Come on Avenza, surely this is an easy fix to keep customers.
