*important: please note that this is an app for wear os (smartwatches) and not for phones! you will not be able to open this app on a phone if you purchase it without a watch*
Sometimes mapping apps overcomplicate a journey - if the only unknown variable is your train, why add layers of abstraction?
Train Tick (trainTick) is an app for wear os with the singular goal of providing up-to-date train information within the UK¹. You can find information on every upcoming train that follows a route, derived from the same data source that feeds station departure boards (so the data is always as accurate as possible).
From there, you can jump into the journey of a particular train to see where it's held up, formation data, and more!
The information is also provided as a tile, for even easier glanceability, and a quick-launch complication is available.
This app does not require connection to a phone (or for the companion app to be installed), only an internet connection! As such, it should work without issue paired with iOS as well as Android phones.

This app is an absolute game changer for train travel. When rushing through a station, pulling your phone out and fiddling to find platform numbers or delays is a nightmare. This app allows you to out tiles with regular trains on, or see a screen with the your route including any delays and platform numbers. They often appear on here before they appear in the boards! Worth every penny.

Easy to install on Samsung Watch5 Pro via a Samsung S22. Brilliant that you can save your regular journeys as well as easily saving the return. I've had it installed for a few weeks with no obvious detriment to battery life. Just used it to look up the next trains whilst walking to the station, and knew which platform to head for. No need to slow down and load the National Rail app or website etc. The minutes saved meant I managed to catch an earlier train. Really impressed.

Fantastic app - really fast, great layout and comprehensive route info. Even with the awkwardness of my fat fingers and a tiny watch screen, I can access the info I want here faster and more easily than in the National Rail app on my phone, and more comprehensively than with the separate phone widget I used to use. Also, my town Haywards Heath made it into a screenshot so, y'know, bonus points there.

**Important** This is an app for Wear OS (Smartwatches). If you do not have a watch, and try to buy this app on your phone, it will not work correctly!
