Delivers the same telegram experience. But I typically find it is more stable and has never crashed on me. some features are a little more limited but it works quickly and simply. update 7-2025: still have unexplained restrictions.. cannot recommend this app at all, if for no reason your just going to get cut off and block from reaching your friends and damoly. literally useless now.

this app works well unless you need to change your phone number. I've been trying to change my phone number in the app for the last 3 months. it keeps saying it sends the confirmation code to my "other device". The problem is that I don't have another device! I've double checked, and telegram only lists one device for me, but it still tries to send a confirmation code to another device. why can't it just send a SMS to my current number?

The app is excellent, but I've encountered a consistent issue with large media. When saving videos over 2GB to the gallery, the app notifies me that the file is "Saved," but the video is actually corrupted. It only plays up to the 2GB mark, and the remaining footage is unwatchable. Fixing this download/storage handler would be a huge improvement.
