Really on board for this app! I've had so many issues with so many apps but I think I might finally be able to settle. Only one bit of feedback I'd really liked implemented—RTF or html signatures! I want my signature to be the same as it is on my desktop, where I've gone to the trouble of making a nice html signature but no matter how hard I try (including importing settings from TB desktop, pasting from existing formatted text) this app de-formats my signature to pure text with no formatting.

Search options in the app are limited, in fact you can only search by a keyword. It would help if the developers could add basic parameters like From, To, Between Dates, Subject Contains etc. Apart from that the app offers a unified inbox view but lacks other unified folders (Draft, Sent, Junk, Trash etc). Having these in the unified menu helps. Overall design and UI is clean. There are no ads and the sync operation is also quick.

Thanks for your review, and your ideas for improving search and unified folders. While we don't know if or when this will be coming to the app, you can also show support for it by suggesting it or voting for existing ideas at connect.mozilla.org, our official feedback site. Thanks!

Desktop version is great and I have used it since inception. The Android app is just a warmed over k9 mail, and still has all of k9's deficiencies. Two glaring ones are no support for filtering messages (for example to automatically sort incoming mail) and the other, related one, is no autoresponder support. The desktop version has excellent filteration and the filters can be used to set up autoresponses based on details of the message. A curious failure.

Unfortunately the Android app doesn't support filters yet. This could be something we add in the future, though we don't know when. For now, please upvote and support requests for filters at connect.mozilla.org
