The only actually usable text to speach app. So good job. Mainly the fact that I can upload a bunch of files and then things happen without me having to watch it. There are still a bunch of bugs (failing for some websites, the order being sometimes weird, notifications not dismissable...) and some features for describing formulas and pictures would be useful to, so still ways to go.

Hi, jakub suchánek. Thanks for your thoughtful feedback and for trying the app. We’ve released several improvements that address stability and ordering issues, and we’re continuing to expand support for more complex content like formulas and images. We really appreciate you sharing your experience — it helps us keep improving.

I love this app. I'm a PhD student with ADHD and I have a really hard time focusing on reading; listening helps a lot. It's not perfect, it does randomly spell words out (usually in a title). Occasionally it will pause, usually between paragraphs, but will pick back up in a few seconds. Auto-scroll doesn't always work, and if you pause and try to scroll away while it's on, it'll keep bouncing you back to current location. Pronunciation is 90% correct. Avoids headers, footnotes, authors, etc.

generally works well, fair price point. one really frustrating thing is that the screen goes to the beginning of the book every time I re-open the app. there's no way to select to navigate to the current paragraph being read, so every time I have to scroll through the whole book to find my place on screen. really daft and punishing, so easy to add somewhere in the menu a 'jump to current' option (the 'jump to current' button doesn't appear if the screen has gone back to the beginning)
