Choose Sailing mode and you don't just tap a dot on a map — you steer your own ship by sail and rudder across an open, wrap-around sea of seven hand-built island regions. Place a navigation mark, hunt or slip past rival ships, and dock at ports to trade. This is age-of-sail seafaring you actually pilot.
💰 Trade across a living economy
Seven ports, seven commodities — water, food, wood, cloth, iron, cannonballs and jewels — with prices that reroll every turn and swing on sixteen world events: droughts, wars, shipwrecks, trade embargoes and more. Buy low, sell high, and watch the market news.
⚔️ Fight ship-to-ship broadside duels
Aim your guns at a foe's Mast, Deck or Hull — each a different risk-and-reward gamble — and trade volleys until one ship sinks. At sea, charge your broadsides, lead your target, and sink enemies for floating loot crates. Plunder their cargo and gold.
🏴‍☠️ A sea that fights back
Pirates, navy patrols and merchants have their own agendas and battle each other, not just you. Aggro-and-leash AI means a careful captain can sneak past — or pick the right fight. Attack a friendly ship and you'll be branded a pirate.

Eight ships from the humble Skiff to the apex Man-of-War, each with deep cargo, speed, cannon and hull upgrades. Level a Captain from 1 to 10 and spend talent points across eight skills — Focus, Power, Accuracy, Reload, Speed, Turn, Mend and Salvage — that carry across any hull. Respec any time.

Miss a loan payment and the loan shark's enforcer hunts you down — pay, run or fight. Lose your ship in battle and you wash up Shipwrecked back home with your gold but no hull, and a fresh start at dawn. Optional turn limit, or sail forever.
