This watch face requires the free Retro Watch Complication app to function. The watch face is the visual layer; the Retro Watch Complication app provides the data, the alarm scheduling, the audio, the persistence, and the button logic. Without it, the LCD area will show placeholders and none of the modes will work.

Setup is three quick steps:

2. Install Retro Watch Complication:

Paired with the Retro Watch Complication app, this isn't just a retro-styled clock. It's a fully functional retro digital watch.

Press the A / B / C / D buttons around the face to cycle through five operating modes: Timekeeping, World Time, Alarm, Stopwatch, and Countdown. Set five independent daily alarms, turn on the hourly chime, run splits on the stopwatch, or count down to zero — all operated directly from the watch face itself. No menu diving, no app switching. Just like the originals.
