Completely priced out of what seems to be a really decent app. As someone with intermediate knowledge of the language, this small taster wasn't enough to know if it's for me, though first impressions are good. I respect the commitment to using real native speakers and the lack of the AI that ruined Duolingo. I still wish, for the price, that Ling at least felt as responsive as that app. I wish there were more pricing options (with ads?) for people like me. £15pm is just too out of my reach.

I've used this app for 4 months, and overall it's been a positive experience. Units are well-structured. The negatives: if I make a mistake on a speaking lesson, the app prompts me to retry, but does not listen to a 2nd attempt, it just gives the same failing score over and over. The only workaround is to restart the lesson. Also twice I have lost month-long streaks after missing one day, even though I had two Streak Savers. All in all a good way to learn some Tagalog!

The first lesson keeps kicking me out. Like, I clicked the first lesson, it just won't open. I think you should fix this bug or glitch so it will never happen again, I thought I could learn all the lessons. I tried skipping the first lesson but it's not letting me, I'm disappointed 😞.
