Even a basic factory reset may leave traces of old content behind. iShredder overwrites empty space and selected storage areas multiple times, helping reduce residual data rather than simply hiding it.

iShredder supports trusted erase methods such as DoD 5220.22-M, NIST SP 800-88, BSI TL-03423 and other internationally recognized standards. These methods overwrite data with carefully defined patterns, making recovery extremely difficult.
