The game is enjoyable. Character design is good. Plenty of game mode to choose from. But the progression is too hard. Cards to upgrade your characters are too hard to come by, with too little given even when using premium currency. Gold used for upgrades are too expensive and you don't even have a reliable way of getting it. The trophy points needed in a ranked season is too much for too little reward. You can enjoy the game, but you have to grind for it.

I give it 3 stars only since it's kinda pay-to-win. The Turnipette and Shroomurai are obtainable only by purchasing with money. These two are like cheats in ranked game. Once these 2—especially the Shroomurai—are deployed on the enemy team, you're bound to lose. Plus, the packs in the store are too pricey lol not really worth buying. I appreciate the game for not having ads though. Overall, I enjoy it a lot. Also, there has been a lot of glitches and bugs after the update of new season 😏

I know the idea is that the game gets progressively more challenging but it gets to a point that you're matched up against players that paid for better cards and stronger units in the game. There would also be games where you just get a bad starting pick and it costs you the whole match, feeling bad that you lose only because of that.
