The latest pulldown to search UX clashing with the pulldown to refresh. The search for tags/labels was more straightforward. Just tap the search box to start search. Now you have to pull down first to see the search box. The prior version also aware about the current filtered tags and retain it when create a new item. Now you have to re-add the tags manually. This new version looks prettier but is a big downgrade in terms of usability. Doing the same things required more steps.

Edit: raised to 5 stars because they have really been upping their game and adding new features lately! (right around the time AI coding became feasible... coincidence? šŸ¤”) They recently even added AI stuff, including MCP so you can use it with your favorite agent (or even the command line if you know). I am very happy to see this app's development picking up, they pretty much implemented every thing I had complained about in my previous review! thanks!

Not much better than paper. For an app and desktop program which has a paid version, it is very lackluster. The UI is clunky and outdated. It feels like I'm using a text editor. Everything is small, and buttons are non-descriptive icons when there is plenty of space to fill. I shouldn't have to write tick marks in order to create a checklist. This is markdown but worse. Repeating tasks operate on dumb logic so if you don't check them off every day you end up with a ton of duplicates.
