Been enjoying the app until I realized that to remove a show you want to stop watching, the only way is to uncheck all the episodes you've watched. Apparently the remove a show option is a premium feature. Such a basic feature most media tracking apps have is behind a paywall... absolutely ridiculous!

Appreciate the feedback! The core app (watchlists, ratings, recommendations) is all free. Premium only adds ad removal and extras. Anything not working right? Let us know at help@moviebase.app.

1. Need a dedicated anime tab like we have for movies and TV shows. 2. For anime shows and movies, we need the ratings to pull from MyAnimeList and have a 2 way sync. 3. We need the option to sync and display ratings from Letterboxd and IMDB. 4. It's essential to have a 2 way sync with Simkl. This is becoming the default for many of us after Trakt started going downhill. 5. Missing import features for IMDb, Letterboxd, MAL, Simkl, etc.

I've been using IMDb for over a decade but sorely missed a robust tracking feature hence I tried this app. Has every(?) streaming service so I can easily keep track of what I've watched & what's getting released. Users inexplicably have to pay to backup & restore their data. 😆 Not only do we have to create the data, but we also have to pay for the privilege. Not invested in creating a footprint that's unnecessarily locked onto one device. Guess I'll be using it to check new releases. A shame.

Thanks for your feedback! Most of Moviebase is completely free — watchlists, ratings, and discovery all work without paying. Premium just removes ads and adds extras. If something isn't working as expected, email us at help@moviebase.app and we'll sort it out.
What’s new
This update focuses on performance and stability, making Moviebase smoother and faster throughout. Returning to and reopening the app is now more reliable, and we fixed several smaller issues along the way. Thanks for using Moviebase!
