Cats are Liquid - A Light in the Shadows is a minimalist 2D platformer about a liquid cat, locked in a world she doesn't quite understand, trying to get out.
The core of your movement is simple: move, jump, and climb, with your ability to turn into liquid allowing you to squeeze through tight spaces and dash across the rooms at high speeds.
As you play, you'll discover abilities which let you interact with the world in new ways. Break down walls and float high above the obstacles, all while mastering the skill of moving like a liquid cat.
The further you progress, the closer you'll be to discovering the true purpose of these rooms. Will you ever get out?

Haven't played anything beyond the main 9 worlds, but I can say this is a great game! I only have two notable complaints, the story starts a bit slow and the blocks that follow you around can be a bit annoying, especially in later levels. Ignoring the slow start, the story is beautiful and the game plays quite well, I feel like this has some decent speed run potential as well.

I love this game so much. I love the storyline, just everything, really. I played both games a few years ago and started replaying them recently. I like the climbing mechanism more in this game than ABP because you can kind of spam jump to climb faster and that helps jump onto where you're trying to go. ❤️❤️ I'm also trying to get the Pacifist run and God mode achievement though it's very difficult. 😭 I did also buy one of the shirts a few hours ago so I can't wait for that!! 1000/10 game

this game turned out to be much deeper than i expected. Lumi's story touched me and made me think about things that are rarely talked about directly. i like that the authors dont give ready-made answers and allow each player to interpret the plot in their own way. after completing the game, i thought about the characters and events of the game for a long time. thank you for this experience!
