About this app

This app displays the TargetAPI of all your installed apps. This lets you check, which of your apps already support the latest features of your Android System.

The latest update lets you check some system information like the screen size and resolution, your CPU and your memory info. It also lets you check your DRM state, e.g. the Widevine security level.

New displays the AndroidManifest.xml of any app.

If you are running Android 6 Marshmallow or later, this app helps you to check which of your apps already support the new granular permission settings.

Guidelines from Google:
As new versions of Android are released, some style and behaviors may change. To allow an app to take advantage of these changes and ensure that the app fits the style of each user's device, an app developer should set the targetSdkVersion value to match the latest Android version available.

Does it's job, it's simple and lightweight, I used it to find out if any apps I used were 32bit and see if any used app bundles. It doesn't seem to have any paywalled features, and has tolerable banner ads that aren't intrusive or disguised as a app feature, they can be removed with a in app purchase which is always welcome.

It shows the app Army Knife as having no Camera permissions, when in fact it can take pictures when the app is in use. Many other permission errors in other apps as well. The app has: Full network access. View network connections n Prevents phone from sleeping (overrides sleep mode). Run foreground service. + more. Go into settings/apps/choose any app/permissions and click on the three dots in the upper right corner for all permissions

Thanks for your review! I could not find the "Army Knife" app to check myself, but some apps use the system camera app to take pictures and thus do not need the camera permission themselves. Also, the permission details dialog shows two sections: "granted permissions" and "permissions, the app has defined, but are not yet granted".

What’s new

- fix metadata/Manifest extraction for newer apps
- change app filtering to All/Self-installed-only/System-only
