About this app

Neurofret uses the science of visualization and tactile feedback to help users map melody notes on the fretboard while audiating them in their mind's ear.

Most ear training apps, while generally helpful, can sequester our learning in what some educators have dubbed "the ear training island," where our ear training practice is disconnected from our instrument. We want to be able to intuit intervalic relationships on our instrument on the fly so we can
play what we hear. Neurofret helps us embed these intervalic relationships into spatial relationships on the fretboard. Our ear training practice can actually translate to tangible gains in fluency on the guitar.

Ive been learning songs through memorization for a while now but this app is really helpful with giving me more visualization of the scales on the fretboard. And its allowing me to feel more free to improvise while knowing which notes I am safe to play on.

Decent - straight forward well designed interface. Not much going on here though, especially for the free version. I see no reason why you shouldn't just go play guitar instead of using the app unfortunately

Hello! Thanks for the review. Firstly, we have just released a huge update with many packs and are going to be releasing a lot more content. We also do not think that this app in any way replaces playing guitar. It is a rather a tool that can be used to help us practice when out guitar is not available throughout the day.
