Feels like OG Instagram! I miss the days of not having an algorithm and ads constantly thrown in your face. The ability to quickly post a photo with no editing abilities and no endless scrolling makes this app refreshing. My only fear is that Meta will eventually mess this all up by adding too many features to it, but I will enjoy it while it lasts.

The idea is cool but the execution seems like a product of vibe-coding. Why is the camera control so quirky? The tapping position for focusing and adding a caption isn't consistent. Also panning and zooming is inconsistent. Android already has a bug that you can actually see a snap multiple times. for example, if you see an instant in Instagram app once, you are able to see the same instant in this app again. Is it supposed to be so?

I love this update! But I think it needs these upgrades to make it better: Adding a confirmation after taking a photo would be better to prevent accidental photos, seeing new instants from friends on the widget, improving the photo quality (this might or might not be my phone), and swiping instead of tapping to prevent accidental taps.
