I've used this app several times now, and I love it. But, one thing that I don't quite like is that when you increase the tines to above 17, the notes are off. You see, for kalimbas, when it's 21 keys, the notes start from °4 till 3°°, not 1 till 7°°. This makes it difficult for me to play songs that need a 21 key kalimba. I would buy one, but from where I'm from, there's no music shop that sells it and it's even more risky to buy one online.

I love this app. It's easy to use, sounds beautiful. It was a great introduction before I decided to buy an analog Kalimba. Now I use both. The free version is super complete, but I got the paid one at a great price for a few extra instrument sounds. Totally worth it. I recommend it to all my friends who are thinking of learning a musical instrument. Guitars are boring, get a Keylimba instead. 😄

if phone applications are meant to convenience, or digitally render systems and/or mechanisms which would otherwise be inaccessible financially, tangently, etc, then this app deserves 6 stars. not only do I have a kalimba in every key, I can change each of the root notes separately, there by creating an endless configuration of kalimbas with up to 21 tines. and I can choose from over a dozen color schemes. plus I don't pay for no upgrades and I don't watch a single ad.
