Reverse: 1999 is a 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG developed by Bluepoch.
On the last day of 1999, the "Storm" fell upon the world. You witnessed an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops. Defying all reasons, what unfolds in front of you is the world of an era long past.
As the Timekeeper, observer of eras, you are free to travel through these eras after each "Storm." With the aid of Sonetto, a powerful Arcanist and ally from the Foundation, your mission is to travel through eras to where the "Storm" is most active, find other Arcanists who can sense the coming "Storm," and save them from being "sifted out" of the timeline.

I'll have to edit my review from last year. Same thing, good visuals, voice overs and all but the game modes are getting into that powercreep path. I can't clear it anymore using my units and I am forced to pull for new ones just to do the raids and other game modes even though I dont want to, otherwise I'll miss out on the huge chunk of the content for the patch. I left HSR for this reason and its devastating r99 is going this path.

I'm new, but this is a really nice game! I love the art style and the story is quite immersive with voicelines, scenes changing often, different, attractive characters, etc. The gacha system is fun too. A bit too many aspects in the fighting which I don't understand honestly, but fights are enjoyable and it's easy to understand the basic-ish things. I do wish there were more male characters (': but other than that, you should try the game!

Love the game. However, unless you whale, don't expect to get every character. you have to research before you pull and see if they fit your team. I dislike how events are tied to discord, its kind of ridiculous to have to download a separate app for in-game rewards. The story is fully voiced and dramatic, but you can see it's just going to be dragged on. I'm actually no longer interested. The art style is brilliant, animations leave an oomph impression, and big numbers are a joy to see.
