Caves of Lore

This game is a true gem. Caves of lore is a turn based pixilated RPG with a good story. There are actually books in the game that you can read and discover secrets. The combat mechanics are clear enough and have increasing layers of complexity that you can develop. The main story takes 30-60 hrs to complete. For completionists there is an optional crafting system, and a rogue lite random loot system with several key unique plot items to guide the story. I hope the game gets a chapter 2.

The story, the characters, the design, the graphics, the fact that the developer contacted me within minutes of addressing a glitch early on after it's release and fixed it right away. It's run absolutely smooth ever since. one of the best games I've played on a mobile device by far. Superb Job!

Caves of lore is an awesome, crunchy rpg with some strong Baldur's Gate style party building, tons of hidden secrets and unsurprisingly, lore! There's a lot of love out into this and it shows. The fact that this is made and maintained by one guy makes this extra impressive. The storyline is decently engaging without giving away too much at first. The combat is grid based and tactical yet still feels like it flows at a good pace. All in all well worth your time and money!
