About this game

Welcome to The Past Within DEMO version, a 15 to 30 minutes co-op adventure by Rusty Lake. For this demo version of The Past Within, both players need to own a copy of the game in order to play. This version can be played cross-platform and has different content compared to the full premium version.

Choose between The Future or The Past and make some memories together with a friend. Join the Cubical Device Beta program in The Future to see if you can make a connection with The Past. The Past will be on the other side communicating valuable information to bring both universes together.

I feel like there are a lot of reviews from people who simply cannot except that this game is for 2 players. Not every game should be for only one player, and I really love to see a Rusty Lake game in the list of 2 player escape room games! I really like this game and have already played the full version as well, it's awesome. Not too simple, but not too difficult either. Took my sister some convincing to play but we had a lot of fun. Already waiting for the next game!!

Pretty good. It's really similar to We Were Here on PC, and I think, Android needs more CO-OP games like these. But one thing is that, from atleast the demo, the guy from the future doesn't have much to do, or move around except using the monitor. I think he needs some more exploration. I've played every Rusty Lake game to date, and this one is pretty cool.

This demo certainly doesn't entice me to pay money for the full version. It says it will take 20 minutes but we did it in about 5? We were surprised when it just suddenly ended. My husband chose the future section and he said he didn't have very much fun. We swapped and he said the same thing. It was less solving puzzles and more giving each other instructions. I want more Rusty Lake lore though. I wish this co-op could have been implemented better.
