High fees and additional charges for disputes and other issues. In a recent real-world case, a service was successfully provided to a client, yet the issuing bank filed a dispute, and Stripe charged a fee of nearly $30. Nobody is really looking into the matter—not even the issuing bank (which is a separate issue)—and on top of that, Stripe imposes such a high fee

The card networks build their fee structure with disputes. Please note that Stripe acts as the intermediary between you and card networks and facilitates the dispute process but doesn’t have influence over the outcome.
