I havr been using the free version for a while now and i am it sucks a lot. We are litterally listening to more adds than we are listening to music. I always get interupted with adds every 1 song i listen too! Also, the songs in my playlist don't play from bottom to top. Instead it just plays in a random order. You guys couldn't get any more greedy. At this point, I feel like switching to Youtube is better because you can actyally skip adds.

Hi. Thanks for letting us know what you think. On free, you can only play music on Smart Shuffle as it's the default play mode. For frequent ads, a clean reinstall might help fix the issue. If that doesn't resolve it, reach out to our Customer Service at support.spotify.com; just search "Contact Us".

I've used Spotify for years but suddenly you can't hear it despite it saying it was still playing on my earphones. I immediately tried other apps and they work fine. I restarted my phone but no change. I've reinstalled it and it still doesn't play anywhere, on the phone speakers or on earphones, despite it showing as playing. The app is now useless!??!

Hi! Thank you for reporting this and for your troubleshooting efforts. Have you tried a clean reinstall? This is a step above a normal reinstall. Steps can be found at support.spotify.com by searching "Reinstall. " If that doesn't help, contact Customer Service by searching "Contact Us".

terrible since the last update.... I've been a premium user for years, and it's the most used app on my phone. I never had so many issues with the app, but it's almost unusable at the moment. Very long lags, offline message when my WiFi connection is indeed strong, it crashes so many times that I give up waiting. For £13 a month, it's not currently worth paying for, so PLEASE FIX IT 🙏 (Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra)
