I’ve always relied on TripAdvisor reviews before making any travel bookings, and it’s usually been a great help in avoiding poor choices. On my last trip, I skipped that step—and I definitely paid the price. Lesson learned! One of the best features is being able to book sightseeing tours directly through the app, which I’ve found consistently worthwhile and convenient. I’ll definitely be going back to using TripAdvisor as my go-to travel companion for future trips.

Never had problems before trip advisor. Booked a hotel in Albany Western Australia recently through trip advisor. it came up with a hotel in Boston USA. Instead of $500 it was $790 +international fees. I had to cancel my card and multiple debit transactions. I contacted trip advisor without any success. My bank eventually reimbursed me. Beware of booking with 3rd party companies. I won't be using them again.

Have used for many years now, checking out the latest reviews on hotels, restaurants, places etc both home & away. However, what suits 1 traveller may not suit another; and some people just love to complain about minor details. ! I generally, read a few reviews to get the best idea of a hotel/place, and go from there. Still the best place to check out your plans/trips.
